Beauty and Attitude

Beauty without attitude is just plain beauty, while beauty with an attitude is a whole different game. Something I would like to address is how attitude and energy can bring beauty however you look. So bare this in mind next time someone is taking a picture of you, just role your eyes and turn the lights on!

I have to comment this picture. This model is an amazingly talented woman who I happened to work with at THE THIEF HOTEL in Tjuvholmen. She has a great spark and a whole lot of attitude. She has the x-factor when it comes to style and putting things together. Her hair changes along side the weather. Long har one day and this iconic hair-do the other.

We had Hodo in studio in Oslo with Photographer Alva Thylén and we had a great session on makeup and looks. Alva is a go-to photographer, she is also very playful and kind as a person which really affects the models. If you like the photographer, the camera likes you - right?

Even with strong colors I created a natural, clean and flattering look. The pigments of the makeup came to it's right and and I love the black, purple and white on her olive skin with her beautiful dark brown eyes. The look is natural but with bold colors.

When picking shades and colors I strongly recommend paying attention to complimentary colors. This can mean "day and night" for the results, and leaves makeup artistry on a completely different stage.
